J. Michael

James Michael Fisher of Cape Coral, Florida 61 years of age was born November 2, 1950 in Charleston, West Virginia; his parents Allen Fisher and Irene Fisher of Hurricane, West Virginia have preceded him in death.

Mike was a life long member of Local Union #625 Steamfitters and Pipefitters. He was retired from American Electric Power Company of Columbus, Ohio and started a second career overseeing and building High Rises in South West Florida. He also was an active Project Manager for his and his wife’s company N.P. & Associates Design Team.

Mike had the gift of touching every person life he entered, his goals were always selfless, “Help them to achieve better thing and the world will be a just a little better place for all of us.” We were all blessed to have had him in our lives his short time on this earth.

Mike is survived by his devoted Wife Linda Ellis Fisher Sons Joshua Lyle Ellis and Joshua Michael Fisher. He was the proud Grandfather to Devan Jeffery Ellis and William James Ellis. He will be missed by his Brother Eddie Fisher and his Wife Tonya, Sister Bev Thornton and her Husband Ray, Sister Sandy Jackson as well as numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles.

With love for Mike we would like to invite you to a simple Memorial Service in Cape Coral on Monday May 7, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00PM. For information call 239-574-4064.

Mike will make one final trip home to West Virginia and on Thursday May 17, 2012 at 7:00 PM there will be a celebration of James Michael Fisher’s life for family and friends at Keller’s Funeral Home, Dunbar, West Virginia 25302. There will be an open podium for those of you who would like to share thoughts or stories of how Mike enriched your life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology, c/o Moffitt Cancer Center, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.
